Shellac has to be applied in a salon as it requires the use of specially created UV lamps to cure the polish.
Shellac is removed with a concentrated solution that your fingers are soaked in for approx 10mins, after this the nail polish peels off leaving no harm to the nail.
Tips on your Shellac Nails
- Wear Rubber gloves while cleaning so not to dry the nail with cleaning products.
- Never File the Shellac, leave it to the therapist as filing will break the bond on the nail and cause chipping.
- Never try peeling the Shellac away yourself as this will damage your own nail by peeling your natural nail with it.
