Waxing FAQ
Every client is different due to different hair growths and types, also different area such as eyebrows, will last approx 2-3 weeks. Chest, back and underarms can last approx 6-8 weeks.
For best results the hair should be 2cm, any shorter and the wax will not pick up the hair.
Yes, a patch test is compulsory – it is carried out by one of our therapist applying a very small amount of wax to a sensitive area on the arm to see how the skin reacts overnight.
We advise clients not to have any deodorants or moisturisers on the area to be waxed.
TIPS
- Wear loose clothing after waxing to stop friction, this helps prevent irritation to the area that has being waxed.
- Do not shower/bath for at least 24hrs after waxing, as the area waxed will be sensitive and the pores will remain open.
- Do not apply any creams after having waxing done for at least 24hrs
